CV Auto Works LLC ("CV Auto Works," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit our website, request an estimate, call us, or otherwise contact us, and how that information may be used and shared.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you request an estimate or contact us, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, vehicle year, make and model, details about damage or requested repairs, photographs, insurance information, and other information you choose to share.

The estimate form uses FormSubmit to process the information and photographs you provide and email them to CV Auto Works at paulcvautoworksllc@gmail.com. Before upload, supported photographs are resized and re-encoded in your browser, which removes embedded metadata such as available GPS and camera metadata. The delivered email and attachments may be retained in our Gmail business records.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, interactions, session statistics, approximate location, traffic source, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, screen information, and a pseudonymous client identifier.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish visitors and sessions. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or estimate-form contents to Google Analytics.

How Information Is Shared

FormSubmit receives estimate-form information and vehicle photographs solely to process the submission and email it to CV Auto Works. The form is configured with no CC, BCC, autoresponse, or webhook recipient. Gmail processes the resulting email to deliver and retain it for our business use. FormSubmit's spam controls may use a honeypot and reCAPTCHA. These services may process limited technical information needed to detect automated abuse. We do not send form fields, messages, or vehicle photographs to Google Analytics or Rogue Fractal LLC.

We may share website analytics data and related business information with Rogue Fractal LLC (RogueFractal.com) for business analytics, website performance analysis, and business development purposes. This may include aggregated or pseudonymous website usage and interaction data, but does not include estimate-form contents or vehicle photographs.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or misuse, or complete a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies and Your Choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may change how some website features work. You may also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported.

You may choose not to submit the estimate form and instead contact us by phone. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we maintain about you, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required or permitted by law.

Retention and Security

FormSubmit states that form-submission records are retained for 30 days and that uploaded files are not retained or accessible through its submissions archive. Emails received at CV Auto Works may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, estimates, business records, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Analytics retention is governed by the settings of our Google Analytics property.

We use HTTPS, browser-side image resizing and re-encoding, file type and size checks, FormSubmit's spam controls, and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect submitted information. No email, website, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

Third-Party Links

The website may link to third-party services such as Google Maps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.
